Tell us more: Rumiko Jr's debut album was released on Spanish label Rock Indiana and the band enjoyed radio play and a tour of Spain. Returning to Britain they bunkered down in their Basement studio to create new album, Haunting The Townsfolk a collection of heartfelt songs in the American idiom. The album is at the mixing stage and will be released through the usual online stores later this year.

Fiery Reels, Tiny Gnomes and Xylophones

As I write the recording project that we optimistically believed would be over by Christmas when we began in (r)October last year, drags into it's 10th month. From the trench like conditions of our basement studio it's easy to see how it's taken this long as we wade thigh deep in the detritus of many a late night session fueled by premium strength lager and scotch. To me, 'Show My Cards' is catchy, sing-a-long and the lyrics seem to show satisfaction with self - "...I'm everything I wanna be..." - that's something else, original and great to hear.
