Tell us more: I've been playing the bass for about 16 years now and freely admit that I am not as good as I should! I first picked up the bass after I heard largely 'Another One Bites The Dust' but all of GH II.
My first band (which came right at the beginning of my playing career) was with 2 mates from Senior School called Dean Fearon (Guitars & Vocals) and Francis Glover (Drums). After folded, I honed my craft and picked up more form Mr Deacon aswell as being introduced to James Jameson, Bernard Edwards and Jaco Pastorius aswell as the numerous jazz/blues bassists of the 1930s-1950s.
In 1997, I met a great girl, Lin, at university whose boyfriend, Mark Cooper, was in a band called Cottonmouth. I caught one of their gigs then in the Black Horse, Prenton on the Wirral and when the bassist left I was asked to go along a try out. The other members where Mark Evans and Dave Robinson. Come 2003 I was still there! We changed names and style along the way, gigged all over the country and released an album.

Several months after the band split, Robo said that he worked with a lad called Gary Turnock who was in a an acoustic songwriting duo with Barry Waring. This chance meating brings us right up to date as we formed Daywalker. We have been gigging tirelessy and have just released an album called, 'Against The Natural Order', which only costs £5!

!!UPDATE!! - Sadly in JUne 2008, Daywalker split due to personal and professional differences. For various reasons, my page will change over the next few weeks as more pre-Daywalker archive becomes available. Daywalker may be re-visited sometime in the future too, so watch this space.

The End of Daywalker (2004-2008)

Guys It is with much regret that I have to announce that as of the 31st of May 2008, Daywalker has decided to call it a day. Below is the first and last entry in the regular Daywalker diary.
