Simon's debut album 'Across the Land' was released on LongMan Records in the summer of 2007. His style has been described in Mojo magazine as "reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and Jacques Brel but with more red wine and humour". Time Out has called Simon's music "wonderfully melodic and enjoyable". He's part poet, part academic and part troubadour. He's a prolific songwriter and imbiber of coffee and wine.

Love the guitar and mandolin in "Oh my love"
A lot of atmosphere within it's easy kind of samba groove, and the backing vocals set it off really well.
