Pete Christie is a powerfully melodic and intelligent, lyrically
diverse and thought-provoking singer-songwriter, and an extremely
accomplished and versatile acoustic guitarist. From his first
professional group, The Skavengers, a dynamic 3-piece ska/rock outfit
that began life in 1979, through to his stunning and critically
acclaimed new album Frank – probably the epitome of his current solo
acoustic work, Pete has proved to be a consumate songwriter, singer,
