Tell us more: I have been working on music sites since 1999, my first site www.musicgold.co.uk carried on from the Rare Record shop I owned during the 80's 90's and by being online I managed to sell much further afield and also buy in some of those rare records, prog rock from the 70's one such record I owned was Dr Z, gatefold album, heavy satanic drum's, plus other rarities such as Beatles early album on the VeeJay label (American), in fact at one time the shop bulged with over 6000 rare albums and singles.
It was while I was on the internet selling and buying records that I came up with the idea to bring online a UK based search site for every music website in the UK, www.ukmusicsearch.co.uk This brought me into daily contact with lots of bands, signed and unsigned and my love for fresh new music started.

From 2001 I started buying unsigned related domains and developing my first "Social" site for unsigned bands, www.ukmusicreview.com this was a success in 2004 and one of the first sites to offer bands the function of adding information to their own pages as well as gigs, songs, digital download sales and more. The technology was new and at times this let us down, so much so that we started to look elsewhere for a way to promote unsigned music.
www.unsignedchart.com was registered on February 17th 2005 and the ideas were worked on and in December 2007 the site launched and loyal bands emailed to let them know we were once again back online and promoting their music.

Now its 2008 and the site is growing at a fantastic rate, but more than that the site is getting visits and page views that build daily, an average visitor to this site stays on here approx 6 and half minutes.... not bad when the average visit to most site's are less than 2 minutes! So too are the pages viewed, 36,560 this month alone (March) and that too grows more each day.

As always though The Unsigned Chart Team and myself are always looking at ways to promote your music more.... and then there’s the TV pilot.... well when we are finished bringing that to the masses I'll update this section more!
