I was born in New Orleans but raised in Joliet, Illinois. I began playing the clarinet, and piano at the age of five. I took up the sax six months later. I was influenced by Benny Goodman, but a close family friend, (James Grays) was an incredible talent and had a huge impact on my playing. I served in the Marine Corps during which time I conducted and arranged music for the Marine Corps Band. I hold a Masters Degree in Applied Music from Oberlin College in Ohio. I have an enormous list of recording and performance credits. To name but a few, I played with Ike and Tina Turner, Lloyd Price, Johnny Thunder, Joe Witkin (Sha-na-na), Howard Blank (Outsiders), James Gurley (Big Brother and The Holding Company), Doc Severenson, Carmen Dragon (the conductor for the L. A. Symphony) and performed in a large stage production of the Buddy Holly story.
My interest in being here is to develop a business, make new friends.

Many thanks to you for taking an interest. I have been playing Sax since I was around 9, this is many years ago. My father taught me. As for who do I sound like. well I try my utmost best not to sound like anyone but myself. I used to listen to all kinds of music, eg, Irish, Asian, Latin, Blues, Calypsoe, African etc, and I believe that's why I am so versatile.
